What Is South Summit Brazil
South Summit Brazil is one of Latin America's most important innovation and entrepreneurship conferences, held annually in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Born from a partnership between South Summit — the global innovation summit based in Madrid — and Sebrae, the event has grown into a tier-one gathering for startups, investors, corporations, and policymakers from across the hemisphere and beyond.
The 2025 edition brought together 23,000 people from 62 countries, 3,000 startups, 800 speakers, and around 900 investors managing US$215 billion in assets. The startup competition alone has helped raise over US$14 billion for participating companies since inception. The 2026 edition takes place March 25–27 at Cais Mauá in Porto Alegre.
