Geofence

A geofence is the simplest way to turn location into a rule: you declare where an asset should be — an operating territory, an authorized route, a lot or a yard — and any crossing of that boundary becomes an event.

The value is not the perimeter itself but what it removes: without one, a human has to look at a map and notice. With one, the deviation arrives as an alert the moment it happens — a rental car heading for a border crossing, a truck leaving its lane, a financed vehicle parked somewhere it has never been.

Paired with behavioral signal it stops being binary: a boundary crossing consistent with a driver's history weighs differently from one at night, in a high-theft area, right after a period without signal. Zarv applies it across 21% of Brazil's fleet.
